Rules and Regulations
Code of Conduct

The organization is committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and animal welfare in all events and activities. All participants including breeders, judges, and volunteers must abide by the code of conduct and ethics. All geckos must be treated with respect, care, and compassion at all times, and any form of cruelty or mistreatment is prohibited. Rigorous hygiene and biosecurity measures are enforced. The organization reserves the right to disqualify any gecko that does not meet confirmation standards or shows signs of illness or injury.

Breeder Rules
  • Must have produced the gecko being entered (no purchased animals)
  • Must remain anonymous until the end of competition
  • Must provide accurate and complete genetics, lineage, and breeding history
  • Offspring from a 1st generation line breeding are NOT eligible
  • Must follow all applicable laws regarding breeding, transport, and sale
  • Must respect judges' decisions and not attempt to influence the judging process
  • Must maintain respectful and professional demeanor at all times
  • May enter up to 3 geckos per event, no more than 2 per category
  • Failure to follow rules may result in disqualification and prohibition from future events
Gecko Eligibility
  • Minimum age: 18 months
  • Minimum weight: 40g with tail, 35g without tail
  • Full body structure point awarded only to geckos 45g+ with tail or 40g+ without
  • Geckos in shed are deemed unjudgeable
  • No gecko may enter more than 3 categories per event
  • Must be physically present on the day of competition
  • Must be pre-registered by the designated deadline
  • Entry fees are non-refundable

  • Kinked Tail
  • Severe FTS (Floppy Tail Syndrome)
  • Hybrids of Any Kind
  • Breach of Code of Conduct by Owner

Judge Requirements
  • Minimum 3 judges, maximum 5 per competition
  • All entries judged on a 10-point system
  • Must be in good standing with the community
  • Must not accept donations, gifts, payments, trades, or bribes
  • Must have ethical breeding practices
  • Must be willing to explain point awards and remain consistent throughout
  • Must have 10+ years of experience breeding the gecko species they are judging
  • Must remain unbiased regardless of personal preferences
