006. A note from the founder.
I built Breed Ledger because the tool a kennel needed didn't exist
I run dogs. I also ship software. I have tried every platform a kennel is told to use. Shopify turns my dogs into SKUs. Wix makes me rebuild every dog page by hand. Good Dog wants 6-8% of every puppy sale to put a listing behind their navigation.
None of them could draw a five-generation pedigree. None of them tied a waitlist to a specific litter. None of them ranked me in search without a paid consultant.
So I built the kennel platform I wanted. AKC fields. OFA clearances. Waitlists tied to the actual litter. A free directory listing. The whole thing runs on the same record.
