Org transactions carry a 1% platform fee (min $0.50, max $3.00). Member dues, registration fees, and event registrations route through Stripe Connect. Payouts land in the club's bank on the schedule the board sets.
The 0.5% in plain numbers.
Using Breed Ledger for payments stays optional. If you do route through the platform, every transaction links to the animal and buyer in your account, which makes tax time straightforward. Here is what the fee actually looks like.
Breeder transactions tend to be higher value. At 0.5% with no cap, a $2,500 show prospect costs $12.50 in platform fees. PayPal Goods & Services charges $87.74 on the same sale.

Org transactions are high-volume and lower-value. The $3.00 cap means even a $500 transfer costs the same as a $300 one. Orgs can absorb the fee or pass it through to the payer at checkout.

Stripe's processing fee (2.9% + $0.30) comes out of the recipient's gross before the Breed Ledger fee is applied. On a $2,500 puppy, the breeder nets roughly $2,397 after both.
What the price actually gets you.
